Who is Textbook Grants?

Who is it?

Textbook Grants is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, that raises money to provide book grants to low income and underprivileged students. These grants help students to continue their education and career development by offsetting costs beyond tuition.

Who is it for?

Studies have shown that low income students cannot afford the tuition at 95 percent of colleges in the United States. Even with the help of financial aid, colleges are still missing the mark of being affordable to low income families by thousands of dollars. Often times, textbooks are paid for by students and parents out of pocket.

How do you apply?

Qualifying students can apply to Textbook Grants by responding to an essay prompt. The Board of Directors meets after each deadline to review and discuss all applications and determine grant recipients.
